Your assignment

The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for the accurate and timely administration of new hire onboarding, payroll, benefits and employee records management. They are also the subject matter expert for the HR Information System (Paylocity) acting as the go-to person for how-to questions, troubleshooting, experimenting/testing new functionality, and staying up-to-date on enhancements. They partner closely with the Sr. HR Business Partner, Corporate Recruiter, managers and employees to ensure strong communication and alignment to support their needs. They enhance the employment experience and cultivate our desired culture by answering pay, benefit and employment questions from managers and employees, partnering with the CHRO, and external providers/vendors to ensure accuracy.

Essential duties:

  • Process Payroll each cycle with high sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy, resulting in mistake-free and confidential pay.
  • Work with managers to ensure all time cards are approved and submitted prior to running Payroll.
  • Track needed changes within each cycle, such as deductions, terminations, new hires, etc…, and ensure/audit accuracy.
  • Administer all benefit options across the organization with a high sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Work with benefits providers and their tools and systems to set up new employees and make necessary changes for existing Employees, leveraging integrations with Paylocity wherever possible.
  • Manage bill payment for all benefits providers in partnership with accounts payable.
  • Provide support by educating, answering questions and providing excellent support documentation to new and existing employees.
  • Assist in annual renewal by participating in planning sessions and providing input as needed or requested.
  • Partnering with broker and carriers, set up and administer annual open enrollment process, ensuring 100% completion and full accuracy.
  • Produce reports and other necessary data for the annual 401(k) and ESOP audit, as directed by the Controller and CHRO.
  • Partnering with managers, the HR team and business technology, lead and complete the predefined onboarding and offboarding processes for all new hires.
  • Ensure new and exiting employees have a positive experience by providing prompt, friendly and highly accurate execution of the processes.
  • Contribute to a best-in-class new hire experience by maintaining new employee biographies for the Welcome Wall, communicating new hires to the company and shepherding new employees through onboarding on the first day.
  • Partnering with Paylocity support, troubleshoot user and system issues to full resolution.
  • As directed by the CHRO, investigate improvements to existing functionality and investigate and test new functionality.
  • Stay up to date on system enhancements and new functionality, informing the CHRO as needed.
  • Maintain all employee records, including separate private health information folders, ensuring accuracy and strict confidentiality.
  • Complete requested reporting such as EEO compliance reports, company surveys, etc… as requested.
  • Set up and/or run reporting as requested, ensuring high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Maintain user accounts in Concur and MOTUS.
  • Assemble and ship new hire packets/boxes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of multi-state payroll processing experience required.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
