Your assignment
The Vice President (VP) of Retail Sales is responsible for all aspects of the health and growth of our retail business in-store and online. They build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with our retail partners, with a focus on the SVP and MVP level.
The VP leads and develop an internal sales and operations team to achieve goals and deliver best-in-class results and support to our retail partners in-store and online. They collaborate and partner cross-functionally with marketing, product development, supply chain, operations and other departments as needed to ensure cohesive strategies and seamless achievement of projects and goals. They leverage National Nail brands and products as well as home centers private label products.
Essential duties:
- Sales Strategy and Planning: Developing and executing comprehensive retail sales strategies, setting revenue targets, and creating sales forecasts.
- Team Leadership: Lead, develop and motivate the retail sales teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure team success
- Customer Performance Oversight: Overseeing all aspects of retail sales operations including e-commerce, point of sale analysis, forecasting, and promotional activity.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-store and desktop research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive pricing and new product activities, and potential growth opportunities.
- Relationship Management: Build, maintain and leverage strong relationships with key retail and ecommerce partners, and stakeholders with a focus on the SVP and MVP levels.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze sales data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to executive leadership.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the retail sales department budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation, cost control, and strategic spending that drives results.
- Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, product development, supply chain, and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Fosters a collaborative culture built on accountability, recognition, and professional growth.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience leading the retail channel.
- 5+ years of experience with Home Depot and/or Lowe's. Known by SVP and MVP levels.
- Proven success building, developing, and leading teams.
- Success growing sales and margin in the retail channel.
- Success creating and achieving strategies for building and growing e-commerce.
- Experience with house/private label brands.
- Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
