As a part of our growing supply chain and planning team, you will source our award-winning brands, CAMO, PRO-FIT and STINGER. Partnering with our vendors, you will proactively manage the purchasing of key product categories.

Your assignment

You will be responsible for purchasing products and ensuring their on-time delivery to meet the demands of the business. As the first point of contact for suppliers in your assigned categories, you are responsible for ensuring all products are at the right place at the right time, for the right price and quality.

In partnership with our Strategic Sourcing Specialists, you will gain understanding of supplier partnerships and pricing to achieve desired quality, timing, and price results.

Essential duties:

  • Provide oversight and day to day management of assigned product categories.
  • Complete daily assigned tasks on the Buyer Task Summary List to desired level of quality.
  • Lead the effort to review supplier performance and make recommendations for sourcing strategies, in partnership with Strategic Sourcing Specialists and the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Maintain databases, tools, and systems to support sound analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Manage PO placement, warehouse rebalancing, repack orders, and track through facility delivery.
  • Maintain a consistent supply of products to meet current and future demands.
  • Participate and support cross functional projects and initiatives including, but not limited to, supply chain improvements, new product developments, and strategic sourcing reviews.
  • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and analyze variances, providing input for future resource allocation and sales planning.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Success criteria:

  • Maintain company goals for fill rates (97%) or above for all categories of items.
  • Achieve cost reduction goals as established during the annual planning process.
  • Meet the requirements and achieve desired outcomes of the “Buyer Task Summary” which is a breakdown of daily and weekly tasks that must be completed to ensure a proper “planning cycle”.
  • Maintain and manage POs from order placement to arrival (ship dates, ETA’s and pricing discrepancies).
  • Acceptable completion of duties in a manner consistent with National Nail’s values and culture.
  • Successful collaboration with other departments to deliver organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business management, or engineering.
  • 3+ years of Supply Chain / Sourcing experience preferred.
  • Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
