Market Development Manager

Your assignment

As a key member of our sales team, you are expected to lead the development of and drive the strategic and tactical sales initiatives needed to achieve our customer centered, company and brand growth plans across Texas. You will achieve a market leadership position in our Texas market through aligning with one of our largest distribution partners and their LBM and STAFDA dealers.

Essential duties:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy through working with one of our largest distribution partner's sales team.
  • Launching new brands, products and thoughts, directly to our brand users, inspiring them to be users of our products.
  • Identify and prospect new retail customers, establish new accounts, and expand the customer base.
  • Accurately, effectively, and efficiently reset merchandising layouts in dealer locations to increase perception and drive sales.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers, serving as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional experiences.
  • Supporting product development teams with market perspective.
  • Leading through influence and building relationships with key decision makers.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to provide forecast, track sales opportunities, and report on activities through Salesforce.
  • Provide product training and support to dealers.
  • Participate in trade shows, industry events, and sales meetings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales campaigns to drive sales growth.
  • Demonstrate the company’s culture.
  • Deliver on promises to your customers.
  • Demonstrate a passion for our brands – it will be impossible to achieve this assignment without “getting” the endearing value of our brands.

Required skills:

  • Overall sales growth in Texas dealers.
  • Sales growth from existing customers AND new dealers.
  • Well executed resets and training within new dealers.
  • Growth in trust with national accounts.
  • Strong performing market within National Nail culture expectations.

Qualifications:

  • • 2 years of field sales & construction experience preferred.
  • Be an outstanding person and teammate, elevating those around you.
  • Align with our purpose, 8 character traits, and cornerstones.
  • Ability to be on the road every day, with several overnights a week. Expected travel will be up to 1,000 miles per week.
  • Business, marketing, similar undergrad degree, or deep industry success evident.
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.
